One Night Only.

Look up at the sky. Up, up, up and away. Wish for you on a falling star.

Laying in bed. Holding you in my arms. Warming you from the heat that radiates from my body.

Roll over. Stop and stare. Your eyes capture me. Your smile melts me. Your touch raises goosebumps on my skin. Press your lips against mine, my heart skips a beat.

We lay there in each others presence. Nothing more, nothing less. Before you fall asleep, I whisper "I love you." You smile back at me and that's all I can ask for.

Roll over. Mold your body into mine. Hold you tight. Sleep now. I will keep you safe tonight.




But now it's 7:30AM and I am now awake.
